MISSION UNITED CLASSES CONCLUDE SPRING SESSIONS

Categories: News

Our most recent Mission United classes have concluded. We want to thank our three programming locations, that included Eagle Trace Golf Course, Woodlands Country Club and Weston Hills Country Club with over 50 veterans participating.

These programs serving Veterans are generously funded by the Harry T. Mangurian Foundation.

Here is what some are saying:

“I just wanted to let you how much I appreciate what this program did for me and my golf game. Through the coaching that I received, my game has improved tremendously. Also, thank you for all that The First Tee does within our community, for our children and our Veterans in introducing the game of golf to them.”
– Willie Bell

“I would like to thank The First Tee for providing the veterans program. As a blind man, I enjoy the opportunity to again enjoy this great game of golf and to spend quality time with other Veterans.”
– Scott Siegel

“This organization has not only put golf in the lives of Veterans, but it has provided a platform for the them to get up and move, maybe even more important, help to put them in a social environment. While the game of golf is exciting, socializing is a big achievement! I take my hat off to The First Tee and Mission United for helping the Veterans find life after service.
– Michael Chambers
