Participants at Woodlands Country Club were thrilled to experience a special clinic conducted by Jillian Bourdage, the 2017 Florida State Girls High School champion and Chapter Volunteer Assistant Coach. Jillian shared with the participants her beginnings in the game at the age of 8, all the way to her current status today as one of the top juniors in the country. At the same time, she demonstrated her skills by hitting shots for the participants. She also blew the crowd away by including a few of her favorite trick shots! Jillian will be heading to Ohio State University this fall on a 4-year full scholarship.

HANDY has partnered with The First Tee of Broward for over four years and finds the golf and life skills program to be a very beneficial to their students as our programs’ goals and missions are very closely aligned. HANDY’s mission is to achieve positive, lasting change for youth by providing life skills, education and a supportive community. Kirk Brown, CEO of HANDY, made a guest appearance and shared in the experience with the students.
